Privacy Policy

Dutch Speaking Exam Coach is designed to minimize data collection. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the app or website.

Audio recordings

Your microphone is used when you record a speaking answer. Recordings are stored locally on your device for your practice history. When you request transcription or AI feedback, the required audio and answer context may be processed by our service providers to return that result. We do not use this content for advertising.

Practice and purchase data

Your selected exam track, practice progress and preferences are primarily stored on your device. Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. We receive the information needed to verify subscription access, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

Website analytics

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate visit measurement and records three bounded first-party event types: a landing event for allowlisted organic campaigns, a practice bridge click from an allowlisted reference page to the free speaking-practice page, and an event when you select an App Store link. The landing event contains only the current page path, campaign source, campaign medium, campaign name and an automatic timestamp. The practice bridge event contains only the allowlisted source page path, target page path, campaign name and an automatic timestamp. The App Store click event contains only the current page path, the Apple campaign code, whether the link uses a custom product page, and an automatic timestamp. We do not write full query strings, referrers, IP addresses, cookies, device identifiers, user agents, answers, audio, account identifiers or full destination URLs to these event datasets. Cloudflare processes connection data as our hosting provider. Analytics Engine event data is retained for three months.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data and do not use third-party advertising trackers. Service providers may process data only to provide app functionality, security, measurement and support. Local records remain until you remove them or delete the app. Temporary server-side processing data is retained only as needed for delivery, abuse prevention and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can deny microphone access, remove local practice history by deleting the app, and manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. For a privacy request, email [email protected].

Children and changes

The app is not directed specifically to children. We may update this policy when the service changes; the effective date above will be updated.

This page is a concise public copy. If wording differs from the privacy disclosure shown inside the app or App Store, contact support so we can investigate.
